Donating Medical Supplies

Pharmaceutical manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers and physicians are encouraged to donate medicines for use and distribution in Chiapas. All sorts of medications are needed (e.g. antibiotics, analgesics, antifungals, vitamins, etc.) in both adult and pediatric doses. We are limited in the care we provide to the Zoque people by the amount of supplies we have on hand in Chiapas.

Donated medicines are transported to Chiapas by our volunteers, who give up their luggage allowance (two 70 pound suitcases) imposed by the airlines.

We now have made connections in Mexico which allow us to purchase dicscounted medications and supplies in Tuxtla Gutierrez, thus eliminating the need to deal with the airlines and Mexican Customs. Usable medical and dental equipment (e.g. BP cuffs, stethescopes, dental curing lights, etc) are also needed.
